A gear shift lock that was bolted to the tunnel cover with an arm that would swing up around the gear shift lever. Then a pad lock was installed.
M151A1 & M151A2
Flat plate bolted to the lip, where the fuel tank opening is. This 1" wide plate was bolted loosely on one side and a padlock installed on the other.
The last 3 digits, or the whole registration number were sometimes painted on the seat cushion backs & gas cans.
Also unit markings were painted like the picture below "2134". This later (early 1990s) changed to this format "M13216" This indicated a specific USMC unit.
All M151A1s are 300000 series registration numbers
All M151A2s are 300000 or 50000 registration numbers
M416B1 - In picture below. Brackets ahead of fenders for mounting fuel cans. Also lifting loops on front and back.
M416 - All USMC trailers have the lifting loops like the picture below, but are thicker than the B1 and do not have the gas can mounts.

Base new vehicle has twist knobs installed on grill for grill cover.

Base new vehicle has fording cable and related engine components installed. Fording tubes and brackets are not installed.

Base new vehicle has outline for camouflage pattern painting. Paint in the lines, just like a coloring book.
