NOTE: The M825 is the 106mm Recoilless Rifle M151A2 Vehicle. The M825 is NOT a TOW vehicle. Any reference to an M825 being a TOW is incorrect or not an original vehicle as it left the factory. An M825 is basically a M151A1C on an M151A2 chassis.

The Army and USMC versions have slight differences in placement of components. As the TOW system evolved brackets & mounts changed to accommodate the new equipment.

Almost none of these have survived. One is restored with some owner modifications, but the base vehicle and mountings are complete, pictures below.
USMC TOW M151A2s can be easily identified as having both the spare tire and fuel can mounted on the passenger side of the vehicle. US Army TOW vehicles have the spare mounted on the passenger side and the fuel can on the drivers side. Yes the USMC mounting makes much more sense.
